All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any products.

Why We Have a Final Sale Policy

The Makeup Distro™ specializes in authentic global beauty products, including Nigerian and African cosmetics that are imported and curated specifically for our customers. Due to the nature of cosmetics and personal care products:

  • Beauty products cannot be resold once they leave our facility for hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance reasons.
  • Cosmetics are considered personal use items and are non-returnable under standard retail and health safety practices.
  • Product integrity cannot be verified once a package has left our possession.

By completing a purchase on our Site, you acknowledge and agree that your order is final and non-refundable. Please review all product details, shades, and descriptions carefully before placing your order.


What We Do Not Cover

The following are not eligible for refund, replacement, or store credit under any circumstances:

  • Shade, color, or finish dissatisfaction
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Accidental or incorrect product selection
  • Skin reactions, sensitivities, or allergic responses (always patch test before use)
  • Products used, opened, or altered in any way
  • Minor packaging variations or cosmetic blemishes that do not affect product integrity
  • Damage from heat, cold, humidity, or weather conditions during transit
  • Packages delivered to an incorrect address due to customer entry error
  • Lost or stolen packages after confirmed carrier delivery
  • Delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs, or force majeure events


Limited Exception — Wrong or Damaged Items

We stand behind the accuracy of our orders and the quality of our products. If you believe you received the wrong item or a product that was damaged prior to shipment, we will review your claim under the following strict conditions.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for review, ALL of the following must be met:

  • You received an item that is materially different from what you ordered (wrong product, wrong size); OR
  • Your item arrived damaged due to a cause within our reasonable control (not weather-related).
  • You contact us within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery timestamp.
  • You provide your order number, a written description of the issue, and clear unedited photo or video documentation.
  • The product is unused and in its original condition and packaging.

Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery will not be reviewed, no exceptions.

How to Submit a Claim

Email themakeupdistro@gmail.com with the subject line: "Order Claim — [Your Order Number]". Include:

  • Your full name and order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Unedited photos or video showing the item, packaging, and the problem

We will respond within 3–5 business days of receiving your claim.

Resolution Options

If a claim is approved, we may, at our sole discretion, offer ONE of the following:

  • Replacement of the same item (subject to availability); OR
  • Store credit of equivalent value toward a future purchase.

Cash refunds, credit card reversals, and exchanges for different products are not available under any circumstances, including approved claims.


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, you agree to contact us directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in:

  • Permanent account suspension and blacklisting from future purchases.
  • Referral to our payment processor's fraud and dispute resolution team.
  • Legal action to recover the disputed amount, chargeback fees, and associated costs.

We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously and maintain detailed records of all orders, shipments, and customer communications.

Your Responsibility Before You Order

Because all sales are final, we strongly encourage you to:

  • Read the full product description, shade name, and size before adding to cart.
  • Review your cart carefully before completing checkout.
  • Double-check your shipping address prior to placing your order — orders cannot be rerouted once placed.

Skin Sensitivity Notice

Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin before using any new cosmetic or skincare product. Discontinue use immediately if irritation, redness, or an adverse reaction occurs and consult a healthcare professional. Allergic reactions and skin sensitivities are not grounds for a refund or replacement.
